Positioning accuracy

The mold is separated into some pieces, of which guiding parts slide in a mutually mated state. Therefore, the general guiding mechanism would require some dimensional clearance. A clearance of 0.02 mm means that the positioning accuracy varies in a range of 0.02 mm. The type-3 mold has 2 mating locations, which mean that variations occur in a range of 0.04 mm, twice as large as the above range.
