Wear of feeding section

High-temperature resin exceeding 300Бо at the leading end of the cylinder, which has been often used in recent years, is not molten at the frontal part of the cylinder, but is forcibly pressed in by the feeding section. For this reason, the soften resin and glass fibers formed like a scrubbing brush cause heavy frictions with the contact surface 3 to 5 cm below the hopper, resulting in wear of the cylinder and the screw. Even the hard allow type (KH) is worn out over years, showing how large the frictional force applied to the feeding section is.
