Runner=balloon theory -1

In the runner, the fed resin is compressed due to the gate resistance and its pressure is stored. After the resin has been completely fed with the screw stopped from advancing, the pressure is transmitted to the cavity.
Now let us assume a simple model, in which a screw is located on the rubber tube side, a balloon is used as a runner, a closed valve functions as a gate, and a cavity is located beyond the gate. When the rubber tube is blown, the balloon will be greatly inflated as the valve has resistance. If you stop blowing the tube and seal it, the balloon pressure will be applied to the valve.
