Destruction induced by gas corrosion

The mold is corroded and finally destructed as the chemical reaction between corrosive gas (acid radical) generated from molten resin and the iron of the mold progresses in the high-temperature, high-pressure environment. Corrosion is more likely to occur in the area where the temperature and pressure become especially high due to the gas that has been driven in by the fed resin.
