Runner=balloon theory -2

In molding of micro precision parts, the effect of this external disturbance due to the pressure applied from the runner over the quality cannot be neglected. In the above model, as the balloon is less inflated or as the flow path of the valve becomes larger, the pressure applied from the balloon decreases. It is, therefore, ideal that the runner be minimized while the gate is maximized.
