Effect of water quality deterioration -1
Since the typically used cooling system using a cooling tower is
structurally opened to atmospheric air, deterioration in water quality
cannot be avoided. Listed as three main factors for that deterioration
are corrosion resulting from increased dissolved oxygen, deposition
of scale due to condensation of calcium and iron ions, and generation
of slime attributable to bacterial proliferation. |
