Oxygen concentration and temperature control

The dry machining allows for decreasing the temperature on the machined surface by absorbing the machining-generated heat with oxidation heat. However, if a certain level of oxygen concentration is exceeded, the surface temperature will start rising again depending upon the material to be machined. If the oxygen concentration is maintained at a constant level in accordance with the oxidation performance of the material, the temperature on the surface to be machined can be ideally suppressed.
