Changes in physical properties by re-pelletizing -2
However, glass fiber reinforced plastic shows some deterioration,
though not markedly. The main cause for this deterioration is that
fiber has been cut because the recycled material is finely pulverized
in the pulverization process before the re-pelletizing process.
If the cutting of fiber is minimized by coarsely pulverizing the
recycled material on purpose, the same physical properties as those
of virgin material can be obtained after re-pelletizing. |
